About

Dr. Carol's Dream

Vision

Integrative Cancer Care Australia has been many years in the making. Dr. Carol has been working privately in the Integrative Cancer space since 2018. She's always dreamed of creating a respectable service that understands the medical world of oncology and the alternative world of natural/holistic care for cancer. Rarely do you find the two together in one place, but ICCA is finally here.

At the moment, the ICCA team consists of Integrative Oncology and Integrative Nutrition/Lifestyle practitioners. These are each unique services that together create a complete support system. In the future, ICCA plans to offer low-cost e-courses, free online resources, a community forum and in-person retreat center. Continue reading below, or visit our FAQ's page to find out more.

Holistic + Conventional

Integrative Medicine

Integrative means we embrace the necessity and effectiveness of conventional cancer treatments when combined with the right support for the body at a root cause level. There are many holistic/alternative clinics out there that are against chemotherapy, radiation and/or surgery. We completely understand the reason for this, but it's not a matter of ideologies for us.

While it is possible to heal many chronic conditions through natural methods alone, cancer is a complex, advanced stage chronic disease. From our experience, most advanced stage cancers require the potency of conventional treatments to directly address the tumor and its metastases. When you do this in conjunction with supporting the body holistically at all levels, the immune system is no longer subjected to the same collateral damage as conventional treatments alone. For most cancer patients, we wholeheartedly believe this approach is the most powerful combination we have available today.

Approach

Root Cause of All Root Causes

  • You provide all your recent labs, scans, bloodwork and intake history before the session.

  • I will carefully review all your information before our call.

  • We meet together for a 1 hour session where I will make an assessment and provide my recommendations.

  • After the call I will send you a detailed report of my recommendations via email.

  • Maintenance follow-up consultations available at a reduced rate.

Dr. Carol has always believed that the psycho-spiritual-emotional aspect of every individual holds the key to their healing. When we disconnect ourselves from nature and align to the ways of modern society, we accumulate experiences that affect the default state of our nervous system. How we feel on a day to day basis determines our level of chronic stress, and stress directly relates to cancer and one's ability to heal from it. It relates to the way we move our body, the foods we eat and how we live our life in relation to the world around us.

ICCA puts emphasis on practicing how to let go of our attachments to our beliefs, judgements, anger, and expectations so that we can get out of our heads and connect more to our true nature. When we are able to do this, regardless of what challenging life circumstances come and go, we are able to draw from an inner source of peace, joy and the power to heal ourselves.

It is the return to nature and the reduction of stress in all its forms (physical, mental, emotional) that allows us to "get out of the way" and restore the body's natural ability to heal itself. Only then do we have the right attitude and energy to take massive action with the diet, lifestyle, detoxification and powerful anti-cancer strategies we offer our clients.

Metabolic Approach + Hippocrates

Philosophy

There are many different alternative/natural/integrative approaches out there for cancer. Dr. Carol and Firoze have studied many of the most successful integrative cancer treatment philosophies like the Metabolic Approach, Hippocrates, ChrisBeatCancer, and Gerson to name a few. Interestingly, all of them claim to have the one right way that must apply to all people with cancer. But each of the philosophies are conflicting in some of their core recommendations, like diet for example.

What's also interesting is that there are countless people who have been able to succeed and achieve their own radical remissions with each of these conflicting integrative philosophies. So what we realized was that it was not so much the nuanced conflicting details of these philosophies that mattered, but more so each individual's attitude and dedication to surrender to a way of life that took them outside their default mode of daily operation.

As a result of these findings, ICCA has created it's own integrative approach that represents a synergy of the very best of each of these philosophies, and focusing on the areas where all of them overlap with each other. The result is what we believe to be one of the most comprehensive approaches we have available today. It is also flexible to each individual so if any of the dogmas of the other philosophies don't work for someone, then we have ways to still be aligned to health and healing without having to force a client into a stressful change they are resistant to. It's a win win for everyone, and something we are very proud to have created for those that need it most.
